The Tenderness of Sunset: Portrait Photoshoot on the Pink Lake in Torrevieja

There are places in the world that seem to be made for creativity. The Pink Salt Lake in Torrevieja is one of them. Its delicate shade, mirror-like surface and soft colours of the sunset turn every photoshoot here into a real masterpiece. That is why Marta’s fiancé Ivan decided to give her an unusual gift: a delicate portrait photoshoot against the backdrop of a natural wonder. 

The first part of the shoot took place in a romantic atmosphere. Against the backdrop of a golden sunset, Marta appeared in a light, airy outfit that perfectly highlighted her tenderness and femininity. We used soft natural light to convey harmony with the surrounding landscape. 

But the most interesting part began closer to the end of the shoot. The sunset gradually gave way to night, and we decided to add some glamour. For the second look, Marta changed her outfit and I took the flash. The artificial light allowed us to create dramatic, spectacular shots that completely changed the mood of the photo shoot. This contrast emphasized how multifaceted beauty can be. 

The results exceeded all expectations. Some shots impressed us so much that we sent them to fashion magazines, where several photos even made it onto the covers. 

This shoot was not only a beautiful gift for Marta, but also a vivid memory that will stay with the couple for life. The Pink Lake in Torrevieja once again proved that natural beauty and a professional approach to photography are an ideal tandem.
