Beetlejuice on vacation: creative shooting with circus performers on the beach
An unusual photo shoot on the beach in Torrevieja is a bold play with the image of Beetlejuice and circus artistry against the backdrop of seascapes. The inspiration for the shoot was the cult character Beetlejuice and together with the circus artists of El Circo Encantado we decided to reveal his character through unexpected beach scenes full of humor and light absurdity.
For this project I invited the talented circus performers Dmitry, Sidney and Demi. Dmitry, who vividly embodied the image of Beetlejuice, wore a strict black and white costume, which contrasted with the beach mood and the glow of the Spanish sun. The girls Sidney and Dami, who acted as vacationers on the beach, added irony and lightness to the shoot.
The whole process of shooting was soaked with energy and fun, and each frame captured unique moments of interaction between the characters. Thanks to the participation of circus performers and their professionalism, the shots convey the atmosphere of live play, bordering on absurdity and nostalgia for vintage movies.
The result was incredibly positive and bright, and this photo shoot immediately attracted the attention of creative editorial boards. Many of the photos were published in fashion magazines, which was a great conclusion to our experimental work.
